Great Food at Leeds were reaccredited on 11th June and received the maximum Grade “A” rating for the Refectory. Only 3 Universities within the U.K. hold the accreditation!
The Gluten-Free accreditation aims to make eating away from home stress free for people with coeliac disease, it is awarded to organisations that have proven their ability to safely cater for those with the condition.
Ian Addy, Catering Operations Manager at the University of Leeds said that “Through their Gluten-Free accreditation scheme Coeliac UK have helped us understand all the relevant processes needed to cater gluten-free and we’re delighted to be able to give our students that added reassurance.”
